The kidneys store Jing species(the essence of food) + jing qi (quintessese enfect).

The renal jing is composed:of the innate jing (congenital, prenatal) + the acquired jing (quintessence of food).

What does kidney energy allow?

  • Reproduction, growth and development of humans
  • To contribute to blood production
  • Strengthening the body and resistance to pathologies
  • To resist external perverts.

The essence acquired (jing of food) strengthens and nourishes the innate jing (capital determined at birth). These two essences are stored in the kidneys, they depend and act on each other. Acquired essence reinforces innate essence, innate, congenital essence, stimulates the formation of acquired energy.

The kidneys govern the development of the living being:

  • Reproduction: development and maturation of the genital system.
  • The growth, the development of the body, the birth, the growth, the maturity, the old age, the death of the human being is in relation to the energy of the kidneys.
  • The bones and marrows, the "surplus" teeth of the bones.
  • The renal jing, bone marrow nourishes bones and brain. They participate in the formation of blood.

The kidneys govern water and organic liquids:

  • Transportation of transport, distribution excretion of liquids;
  • The maintenance of the balance of the metabolism of liquids inside the body;
  • The vaporization activity of the kidneys allows the functions of the spleen, the lung and the bladder;
  • All liquids go through the kidneys;
  • Almost all of these liquids return to the body;
  • The training and excretion of urine is directly based on vaporization and rise of renal energy activities;
  • Opening, closing, excretion and retention of water and humidity;
  • Normal evacuation of stools and urine.

The kidneys govern the reception of air energy:

  • The kidneys receive the energy of the pure air inhaled by the lungs;
  • They allow normal gas exchanges between the environment and the body;
  • They regularize the breathing of the body.

Emotions such as fear can be linked to certain kidneys

Fear can trigger:

  • The incontinence of urine and stools, spermatorrhea;
  • Thoracic oppression, abdominal distension, anxiety of mind, the difficulty in falling asleep;
  • Irritability, spermatorrhea, urine incontinence;
  • The fear, fear, spoil the essence and blocks the upper hearth, the Qi turns back, distend the lower hearth and no longer circulates;

Fear brings down the energy

Symptoms :Crude and stool incontinence, spermatorrhea.

Fear lese the kidneys:

  • When the kidneys are injured by fear, the lung and the heart are no longer fed, there is a disharmony between water and fire (between the kidney and the heart);
  • Symptoms: thoracic oppression, abdominal distension, concern about mind, difficulty falling asleep | Irritability, spermatorrhea, urine incontinence, kidney movement.
  • In normal operation, the kidney receives energy, Qi;
  • The damage to the reception function of IQ by the kidneys causes manifestations:
  • Dyspnea.
  • Difficult breathing.
  • Expiration longer than inspiration.
  • Fast and short breathing.

A common disharmony in MTC: the Reins / Heart link

Let us not forget that the yin controls the yang, the yin of the kidneys runs to control the fire of the heart, the fire of the heart descends warm the water of the kidneys, in a normal functioning. But if the kidney yin is weak, then the heart yang is no longer controlled, the heart is dispersed:

Fire of the heart of the heart:

Demonstrations:

  • Redness and pain of the tongue, ulcers on the tongue and oral, canker sores;
  • Larynx redness;
  • Agitation, irritability, insomnia, kidney/heart disharmony.

Causes:

  • Deficiency of the renal yin by consumitive diseases, sexual excess;
  • Excess of the yang from the heart;
  • Emotional disorders transforming into fire.

Demonstrations:

  • Dysphoria, agitation, insomnia, hectic warmth with 5 hearts (2 feet, 2 hands, chest);
  • Spermatorrhea, night pollution;
  • Dizziness, earring, amnesia;
  • Lumbs and weak knees and curbatus;
  • Gorges and dry mouth;
  • Red language;
  • Fine and fast pulse.

But the yin of the heart must in turn control the yang of the lung, which will undergo the reaction of the heart and accompany the heart in its complaints, the lung will express sadness, the desire to cry and in turn may have difficulty feeding the kidneys correctly ...

A low kidney yin often causes a low kidney yang, which leads to the Yang of the liver by a deficiency of the Yin of the liver, which causes anger.
